LOCATION: Zavala, otok Hvar
This residential building is located just a few hundred meters from the sea, near the pristine coastline on the southern side of the Island of Hvar. It consists of six apartments, arranged as two apartments per floor, each carefully designed to enable the view of the sea and an immersion in the surrounding nature. The building is beautifully integrated with the environment, offering a comfortable and serene living or vacation space.
The services provided included principal supervision, project management, and technical consulting throughout all the phases of construction. The island location brought additional challenges, especially regarding logistics and the availability of concrete, since Hvar has only one concrete plant. Despite these challenges, the project was successfully completed due to the precise organization, the regular monitoring of construction dynamics, and the continuous coordination with contractors and designers.
High-quality execution and compliance with the design requirements were provided, facilitating the project’s timely completion within the anticipated budget.
Special attention was given to the preservation of the natural environment, to maintaining high architectural standards, and to the creation of a pleasant living area. The building harmoniously fits into the Mediterranean landscape, ensuring tranquillity, privacy, and long-term value for its users.
