Zori Timeless Hotel is situated on one of the most beautiful locations on the Adriatic, in Vinogradišće Bay (better known as Palmižana) on the Island of Saint Clement. It consists of four villas, each carefully designed and equipped to offer guests their own little and private sanctuary.
In the construction and decoration, exclusively natural materials were used, such as stone and wood, which blend naturally into the environment, without disturbing its beauty. The objective was to create a space where indoor and outdoor areas merge, allowing for a complete connection with the sea and lush vegetation, while simultaneously ensuring a sense of privacy and protection.
The residences represent an optimal combination of luxury and minimalism. The indoor and outdoor areas blend into fluid apartments where guests may relax, sunbathe on a private terrace, or enjoy their private pools.
The task in this project was to ensure high-quality monitoring of all construction phases and to ensure that all the construction and craftsmanship works met the highest standards and that they were completed within the scheduled timeframe.
The design and construction supervision on the island presented a specific challenge due to the logistical limitations unique to the conditions on the island. The limited space at the construction site, the difficulties with the procurement of materials, together with the production of concrete directly on the island were among the factors that complicated the execution of the project. The specific demands of the location required detailed planning and a unique approach when it came to worker accommodation and site organization in order to ensure efficiency. Furthermore, the disposal of construction waste posed a significant challenge due to the remoteness and the very specific conditions of the project.
